Gentle on your hands, Gentle on your Companion, our Leashes are made with the finest materials available. Unlike others, we do not use scrap leather, rusted or tarnished rivets or hardware, or low grade Polypropylene cordage. Our Polypropylene cordage is woven several times over producing extra smoothness and softness and yet maintaining its strength, as well as preventing less rope fraying and hand burns. In addition, we purchase only quality cowhides which allows us control over consistency in color, thickness and strength. We not only sew our leather into the rope, but we use special glue exclusively designed for us. Glue that will not fall apart, even left in water for months. Rest assured that at Sam's Dog Hut, our leashes wo'’t become Unglued, Unraveled or Unwanted.
Snap Leashes
For customers who demand the best, our Snap Leashes are built with you in mind. Same quality materials and craftsmanship as our Slip Leads, but made with man's oldest metal, Solid Brass. Its beautiful rich yellow color is exceeded only by its durability. Our Snap Leashes are built with a heavy duty Solid Brass Swivel Snap that turns on a pivot, and yet easy on your hand, easy on your companion. In addition, for those attend field trials, hunt tests, training or handling events, our Snaps Leashes have a ring on its handle for easy snap to ring when leash is not being used or can be worn diagonally across the shoulder leaving hands free, or shortened for use in traffic.
